My motor from the 2008 season

It was a 383. Best run was 6.96 @100.4. Ran 7.0's all night. Not real sure what happened but it wasnt pretty. I have more pics but cant get them to upload due to size.

It was painful. lol The only thing off that motor that I could still use was the intake, headers, carb, and the heads after I put 1000 dollars in them to have new valves, springs, all the work and ect.
The trans and converter is a PTC and Kenny Ford there was very standup and helped me out big time with fixing them. The converter had a bent neck and the trans, Well you seen it. lol.

Uh, it's not a wonder that you don't know what happened... like trying to figure out how a fire started with just a bunch of ashes left. Crap, that's one of the best grenade jobs I've seen next to a Mazda RX3 drag car that grenaded so hard it blew the hood off of the front of the car. Congratulations :rock:

Should have been in the truck!! I know why it came apart just not sure what turned loose first. My electric shifter didnt shift on time (7400). I had a 7600 chip in the rev limiter. After it was all said and blown I checked the recall on my tach and it hit 8100. Damn rev "limiters". lol

Jeremy, they gotta see pics of the crank!!! Those are unbelievable! Doubt you'll ever figure out what let go first. Damn rev limiters! Mine went past 2 of them when I turned my 358 into a boat anchor.
