Any pics?
Hope all is ok..
I did the same thing when I drop to Michigan..
In Fl we don't really run any antifreeze. I put in a little to be safe..
Guess it wasn't enough.... Tried to turn motor over the next day..
Nothing.. Opened the hood and seen the freeze plugs blown out and a crack
between the #1 and #3 cylinders...
Welcome to Michigan!!!

I thought I almost had my freeze plugs erupt the other day. But instead the lower radiator hose just froze. No antifreeze in the daily. My dumbass fault. But chilling on the side of the highway in 19 degree weather (no wind chill( waiting on the wife. Got it done now.

Congrats! I saw something to check though, in the second pic, on the pan rail (passenger side) #3 main webbing, side towards the front, is that a scratch, or what?

Don't scare me like that. I looked at the pic and then ran ( literally ) out to the shop and no it's not a crack. But thanks the more eyes you have the more you see.

Now it's time to order bearing, and i have been thinking of a new cam, now's the time I guess. I need to put ina new sfi plate too, the list goes on and on. This last season was the first for nos for this motor so it was good to tear it down just to check on things.
