View Full Version : finally got a hood.

well finally broke down and put a 6" harwood hood on the dime.pics are from running for the first time ever @1/4 mile track. went all day 10.7s @128.but was bogging out the hole. about 2 tenths slower that i run 1/8th mile on motor. ran on nitrous one time and if it could go wrong it did. the tranny wouldnt shift from 1st to 2nd. had to pull it back down into 1st then back to 2nd to shift. so needles to say it was turnign the rpms on the gas. finally got it in gear and ran it out the back door. but was def missing down the track. went a 9.97@138.opefully i just lost a plug. the tranny i think is low on fluids but for a th350 its doing all it can do for me. well see soon

thanks guys i love the hood soo far and wasnt that bad to mount. did need some trimming. just need a air pan now.heres a few more pics from the other day. and yeh eventually ill paint it. more worried about making it run for now

yeh i orderd mine fron jegs also. bought it new. they had a blem but i was in a hurry to get it on didnt want to be fixing some bad fiberglass
