Hey guys, I'm Dale and located in central Louisiana. I got addicted to drag racing back to the late 60s at 12yrs old when my dad (who had no interest in cars) took me to the local (then new) State Capitol Dragway. By 14yrs old, I bought a 56 BelAir for $60 and "built" it with 327, 4spd, 12bolt by the time I turned 15 and got my drivers license. Well since then there were many special cars (67 SS396 Chevelle, 71 LS5 Corvette Conv., 78 L-82 Corvette) and then "marriage". You guys know the rest of the story. Well I got 2 kids through college and they gave me their "S10" back after they both beat it pretty hard through high school and college. I figured if it survived both of them, it deserved a good "build" and besides I deserved a "second childhood". So for the past 5 years and (2 hurricanes), I have been working on what I call "Not just another S10". I hope I can contribute enough on this site to justify all the questions I will have. Thanks and it is really great to hang out with you guys!

Welcome to the site Dale..
I see you had a 67 Chevelle.. That is my all time fav car..
I still own the one I had when I was 18.. (Thats 23 years I have owned It now)
To tell you the truth.. I will die with that car.. Way to many memories to ever let go.

Your addition to the site is very welcome..
This place is about learning and helping others.. You may know something about one
subject but need help in another.. we are family.. Its all good..
